If you decide to step on a path of real estate business, which seems to be very simple and understandable at first glance before starting independent activity should clarify some points. It is wonderful if you already have some experience of such work, and worked as an employee at the real estate agency. If you have a very approximate concept about what and how the realtor earns, then you can go to learn in special courses. But, firstly, the pleasure is not cheap, but, secondly, while you will study, who will earn money? The knowledge that you receive in ordinary courses are much less value than the real experience of a practitioner specialist.
So what a successful realtor should know? To begin with, it would be nice to get a legal education, because the set of laws that relate to the real estate market is quite difficult to study on your own. Can you immediately answer who is the first to enter the heirs? Is it possible to issue a sale of an apartment in which minor children are registered? But this is only the beginning. Therefore, at least in the courses the realtor cannot do without preliminary training. It’s not bad to engage in self -education, reading and studying the legislative framework. But after a few years, with the proper application, you can, if you wish, re -qualify, say, to the appraiser, which is a very interesting and profitable activity at the moment.
After you have received the necessary minimum of knowledge and you can freely navigate in the legislative field, it comes to the registration of your business. What form of business do you choose, whether you will be a private entrepreneur or form a legal entity, do not forget about the maintenance of the accounting and timely delivery of the tax and other reports, as well as the entry into one of the realtors’ associations. This action is voluntary, but you will have to pay annual membership fees. However, as a member of the Association, you will receive a number of advantages, for example, the most relevant information about amendments and additions to laws regarding real estate activities, the assistance of a lawyer who collaborates with the association, or access to the basis of perfect transactions. Of course, this is not a complete list of everything that you have to find out before your real estate business begins to bring tangible profit, however, this is a sufficient minimum to understand how exactly this area of activity is suitable for you.
