Are such concepts as varnish and wooden furniture compatible? The answer is unequivocal! Yes! Even more, if there is varnishing on wooden furniture, it, after a couple of decades, remains almost the same new wooden product, only slightly different from the new. Such a fantastic result occurs only thanks to ordinary varnish.
But the knowledge of some nuances also has a place to be. For example, varnishes such as acrylic, alcohol, oil and t. p. suitable for most wood species, but not for everyone. And bitumen, polyurethane, epoxy and others will not be able to combine together under any conditions, and will only lead to destructive consequences that will be expressed in the dimming of wood and in a clear deterioration of the appearance, which is only a negative factor for expensive furniture.
All varnishes that are favorably combined with wood have several functions at once. One of the functions is, of course, a protective. It will give a hundred percent more than the protection of furniture, leading to deformation, moldy and quality loss, expressed in the fragility of the tree, from high humidity. The second function is decorative design. And it manifests itself in the form of some shine and transparency, which can vary, from matte to glossy and from transparent to translucent.
