It used to be very fashionable to decorate their dwellings stucco molding, especially the circle around the chandelier. Now this fashion is returning, and mold forms are much more diverse. This type of jewelry is especially suitable for you if your interior is made in a soft romantic style.
To create a good thick solution, the ratio of water to the gypsum should be 1: 2, not less, otherwise the solution will be liquid. The resulting solution is spilled into a special form and the pattern is ready!
As you can see, you do not even need to apply special efforts, only prepare the solution. Just need to take into account some points. If you want to fashion figures (for example, Christmas angels), then gypsum is needed in a ratio of 1: 0, 7. Such a solution is more designed to create complex ornate shapes. The same applies to floristic motives.
If your goal is to create simpler shapes — say, a chain of leaves or several graphic figures, then it is better to use a thick solution.
When pouring the solution into the form, make sure that it is distributed evenly in the form. Of course, in a complex figure, the difference will not immediately be too noticeable, but where the solution is smaller, the figure will be more fragile and eventually begins to be outweighed even on a good mount. This is especially true for complex, strongly protruding figures.
It is better not to change the color of the gypsum and do not add additives if you are not a professional in this area. You can simply ruin the quality of the gypsum, or the color will come out uneven.
