And this is not surprising, because for all the time of its use in construction, he proved his superiority better than others. Among its main characteristics, in addition to mechanical strength and resistance to temperature differences, the important ability of the uniform distribution of heat indoors and hydrophilicity.
Depending on the purpose, 3 main types of brick are distinguished:

· Facing;
· Special -purpose brick.

Recently, among manufacturers of this material, there has been a tendency to create an improved model of porous bricks.
Silicate, it is white, brick finds use in the construction of walls and partitions. Due to its lower resistance to moisture, it cannot be used for foundations. But it should be noted that the walls from it are not inferior to similar structures made of ceramic brick, since they have almost identical indicators of frost resistance, soundproofing and thermal conductivity.
The brick facing, as can be seen from the name, serves as facing material when decorating the facades of buildings and internal surfaces. In view of this, it is obvious that increased requirements are imposed on the appearance of such products. In structure, most often lining bricks are hollow, which provides them with high thermal conductivity indicators.
Despite the fact that such a cladding is not quite appropriate from the standpoint of savings, but such costs more than pay off its durability compared to other types of decoration.
The fundamental difference between curly/colored brick is its original appearance. The purpose of this type in the direct decoration of surfaces, although this in no way affects their operational characteristics. The main area of its application is the construction of complex architectural elements.
A special type of brick is a ceramic stone. He got his name because of his large size. Currently, various manufacturers are engaged in the production of similar products and in each individual case the characteristics may differ. But among the main advantages of such bricks, technology and efficiency can be distinguished.
