1. The main thing when paved power is to make a flat base. If there is no sand pillow yet, it is necessary to remove the soil to the desired depth, pour a layer of sand 10 cm thick and leve it with rakes.
2. After aligning the sand, check whether the stones will be flush with the surface of the lawn. A new sand pillow must also be tamped.
3. Sand is aligned with a board. You can’t walk on the finished sand pillow, otherwise then it will have to be edited again.
4. Good assistant — patching cord. It is attached to pegs at the level of the surface of the future path and verified horizontally.
5. Now you can put the first stones. The corners, which, when rested, will be slightly smoother than provided, then fill with sand, which will allow the grass of the lawn to “move” close to the curb.
6. Stones of three different formats are used for paving. The dimensions of the average square stone — 11, 5×11, 5 cm, small — twice less, large — 1, 5 times more.
7. Stones are placed evenly, but without any stiff scheme. The following is important here: to put the laying in the direction of the already laid area, so as not to step on the leveled sand pillow.
8. Stones, somewhat protruding over others, carefully, through a wooden block, are knocked down with a hammer.
9. Pug the path conveniently together. One puts stones, the other delivers them and controls the correctness of the masonry pattern from the side.
10. Several sand shovels are poured onto the surface of the paved path and level it. After that, the path is watered with water and a broom with a broom is driven into the cracks between the stones.
11. In conclusion, all the masonry is well tamped with a vibrator. The goal is to give the track coating strength, smooth out possible irregularities and evenly distribute the sand in the seams by voids.
