This bulk floor technology allows you to get a well -prepared surface for parquet, laminated coating, linoleum, and so on.
The composition of the material
The solution consists of a mixture of filler, binders and additives. The filler is most often quartz sand, and cement, gypsum, or a mixture of these materials are used as a binder material. Various polymer powders are used as additives, which give the solution elasticity and additional strength. In most cases, they use ready -made mixtures, they can only be diluted to the desired consistency.
It is checked with a special test. You need to take a plastic lid from deodorant, cut the bottom and install on a smooth even surface. The solution flooded into it will spread evenly. The optimal consistency with a diameter of a spread solution of 16-18 centimeters. Viscosity can be adjusted by the addition of water or dry mixture. With excessive amounts of water, the floor strength will decrease, and the drying time will increase.
The technology of the bulk floor allows you to mount it on absolutely any surface — from wooden to a ceramic base. The main rule is that the surface should be clean, dry and low. Air temperature 15-25 degrees Celsius.
If the surface is porous and absorbing, it is necessary to primed it.
Preparation of the bulk floor
To prepare the solution, you need to take a suitable container, pour water into it and fill the mixture. It is recommended to breed an electric drill with a whisk. Work should begin from the wall that is most removed from the entrance. It is important to pour the floor in one time, that is, without breaks, only in this case you can achieve an absolutely even floor.
The finished solution is poured with a strip parallel to the wall, then with a wide spatula it is equal to the desired thickness. To determine the required layer thickness, it is necessary to use the building level of at least two meters of long. After leveling, the solution should be rolled with a needle roller to remove air and more uniform distribution over the surface. After that, you can pour out the next portion of the solution, and so gradually pour the entire floor.
It is recommended to cover the floor after pouring with a foil or film to ensure natural drying.
