In 1997, the NABK reserve was opened (Nabq). This is one of the largest reserves in Egypt and the largest national park in Sinai. Its territory exceeds 600 thousand square meters. kilometers.
In the collection of the NABK National Park 130 species of plants. Among them are amazing mangroves that make up a huge mangrove grove. Their leaves from below are covered with a layer of salt, and they themselves get fresh water for themselves, processing salty into it. Many birds hide in the spreading branches of mangroves. On the shore, along which beautiful coral reefs stretch, storks, falcons and seagulls live. Tourists can observe how flocks of migratory birds leave and fly back to the reserve.
