Irkutsk is a middle -aged city. Next year he will be 350 years old. The old buildings have been preserved here, numbering a story of tens, or even hundreds of years. But the city does not stand still and is actively developing and being built up. High -rise buildings grow very quickly in different parts of the city, gradually displacing old wooden buildings.
Every year, the number of new buildings in Irkutsk is only growing, and, despite the high seismic activity, there is a tendency to more and higher and multi -story buildings. But at the same time, another trend is manifested — the Irkutskites are increasingly starting to move beyond the line of the city.
With the adoption of the «country amnesty» and the emergence of the opportunity to acquire and privatize the Earth beyond the city of the city, as mushrooms after rain began to appear new villages outside Irkutsk. And gardening becomes less and less like summer areas. Many, having dismantled the old wooden dachas, build on their six hundredths thorough brick houses suitable for life in winter. Moreover, the modern Irkutnyan is not at all concerned about the remoteness of such a house from the city — he chooses silence and fresh air. So where is it still better-in the city or in a private house?
Of course, both cases have their pros and cons of. And the choice here is purely individual. Someone cannot live among urban noise and exhaust gases and moves out of town, in silence and tranquility. But at the same time sacrificing the time that will have to be spent on the road. Moreover, weather conditions in Siberia do not always allow you to move freely, for example, in winter. Often, during heavy snowfalls, departures from the city falls asleep in snow, and there is a risk of staying in a closed space, without the opportunity to get to the city from its suburban phase. Not everyone can afford in this case a “vacation” in anticipation of the fact that the road will be cleared.
But life in its own house solves the main city problem — the need to live side by side with strangers. That is, neighbors. No one will wake you up at seven in the morning by the sound of a punch and will not have noisy dances over your head until three in the morning. And vice versa, there will be no one to call the door and knock on the batteries if you have stayed up after all guests.
In addition, life outside the city is always clean air and proximity to nature. In order to walk through the forest or sit on the riverbank, you do not need to burn behind the wheel and go for tens of kilometers. It is enough to leave the gates of your house and often go through a few minutes to be in the real forest.
